Following lunch and a brief business agenda, an invited guest is given one half hour to speak on an important community subject or interesting topic. If you are interested in attending one of our meetings, contact us by E-mail and you will receive an invitation from one of our members. <p> <CENTER><B>PRESIDENTS REVIEW OF THE YEAR 2010-2011</B></CENTER><P> I served as President of The West Seattle Lions 2010-2011. This is my second time in this office. This has been the best of any experience I have ever had in my life. I have learned more about working with a wonderful group of people and have achieved things I didn't know I could do. Lions Clubs are the largest service organation in the world.  If you are thinking  of joining, you would make a great choice. The West Seattle Lions Clubs is one of the oldest Clubs and we have a lot of fun. The members are wonderful people and are always looking for new ideas and are all people who are willing to work hard. If you join you will feel a sense of achievement and something you have missed in your life, serving the community, fundraising, and making choices that make you feel better about yourself. Headquarters at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel. <P> <P><BR> <FONT FACE="COPPERPLATE GOTHIC BOLD"> October 22nd </FONT> - Octoberfest at the West Seattle Senior Center 6PM.  Dinner and Entertainment. Fun! <P><BR> <P><BR> <FONT FACE="COPPERPLATE GOTHIC BOLD"> November </FONT> - Book Distribution at West Seattle Schools - dates to be announced.<P><BR> <P><BR> <FONT FACE="COPPERPLATE GOTHIC BOLD"> December 15th </FONT> - Club Auction at regular meeting. Proceeds go to our service account. Members bring a unwrapped toy for our toy distribution at Christmas.<P><BR> <P><BR> <FONT FACE="COPPERPLATE GOTHIC BOLD"> December ?? </FONT> - Annual Club Christmas party at the Kenny Home.<P><BR> <P><BR> <FONT FACE="COPPERPLATE GOTHIC BOLD"> January 21st </FONT> - Pancake Breakfast at the Senior Center - CANCELLED - due to snow. It will be rescheduled <P><BR> <P><BR> <FONT FACE="COPPERPLATE GOTHIC BOLD"> February 11th</FONT> - Valentine's Dinner at the Senior Center <P><BR> <P><BR> <FONT FACE="COPPERPLATE GOTHIC BOLD"> March 17th </FONT> - St. Patrick's Dinner<P><BR> <P><BR> <FONT FACE="COPPERPLATE GOTHIC BOLD"> April 13th & 14th</FONT> - Annual Plant sale at the Senior Center.
